Wet Air Lines For Filling Tires?
I (my parents) have a four car garage that I was given free roam over a few years ago. I have a pretty nice setup with a mid-rise lift and most every tool I need along with some nice cabinets.
Here is my question, my garage is setup with garage-pak air lines with outputs at each of the four car spots. The lines are "wet" lines meaning that there is a very small amount of lubricating oil in the lines for air tools. Is it OK to use these wet lines for filling tires or should I put in a small compressor and make a separate system for "dry" air for filling tires and other things.
If I put in a separate system I would just use a small (~30 gal) compressor and paint the lines a different color to differentiate the lines. I have a room in the garage where my current rotary compressor is and there is enough room for another small compressor.
