2010 Garage Remodel - Moduline Cabinets in route
#16
I purchased the tile at BuildDirect out of Canada, product shipped from Southern CA. I had the tile within two days which was perfect. The ramp at the edge of the tile is a Schluter Reno Ramp system.

The amount of money I put into to the garage is nothing compared to the rest of the house, or my car, or the other car, ect... I would have loved to build a bigger garage but the lot size at 6500sq and there is just no room to do that. My alternative to your solution is to own commercial property where I store vehicles when needed. Both of which are located in the bay area, not sure where you live but you would be hard pressed to build a new house for $300k let alone the $30k I put into the garage.
As for the logic, it is my home.

Only time will if it cracks under load but it should be fine per the specs below.
Takla Tile Specifications:
This material is made from an atomized mixture of: quartzes, feldspars, clays, and kaolins, pressed (600kg/cm²), sintered at 1300ºC, and is homogeneous throughout its thickness. The elements resulting from this procedure belong to the CI UGL “completely vitrified” group (UNI EN 176 or Bla ISO 13006 regulations). The requirements of the following material must present the average values: width and length, rectilinear and orthogonal measurements and planarity: ± 0.2% (ISO 10545.2 testing method regulations); thickness: ± 2% (ISO 10545.2 testing method regulations); water absorption: 0.04% (ISO 10545.3 testing method regulations); deep abrasion resistance: 120 mm³ (ISO 10545.6 testing method regulations); flexion resistance: 55N/mm² (ISO 10545.4 testing method regulations). They must also be resistant to chemical aggression, staining, and frost.
