Original Color Chips Floor Epoxy

Original Color Chips Floor Epoxy
Hi!
This is my first post here, but I often visit to read all the great posts!
I wanted to make my drab concrete floor look like a million bucks. So, I researched and read about various products. I decided to go with a poured epoxy flooring. I choose the "Original Color Chips" Norklad 200 product from this web page: http://www.originalcolorchips.com/. The product claims to be a 100% solids, water bourne epoxy.
I contacted the company directly, giving them my floor dimensions (square footage) and floor characteristics. They suggested that I first clean the floor of any greese or oil using a good quality degreaser. Then use a concrete floor grinder to rough up the surface a bit for better adhesion. Then vacuum up the dust. Next prime the floor with the Color Chips primer. Allow to dry overnight, and continue with the colored epoxy.
All went well with prepping the floor and priming. However, when applying the Norklad 200 colored epoxy, we ran out far short of the recommended amount! The amount they sold me to cover the entire floor covered just under 2/3 of the primed floor. I contacted the company and they sold me more product, and suggested we squeegee the product then back roll it with a paint roller. Ryan from the company said: "Roll the snot out of it." Following his recommnedations, the product just covered about 7/8 of the remaining floor area - barely!
The area we initially covered (the first 2/3) looks absolutely beautiful! However, the remaining area looks like it was stretched out and I can see the tecture and details of the floor under it. Needless to say, I am not happy with this section of the floor and it needs to be fixed.
Has anyone else had this type of experience with this company? I would have been much happier paying more up front and having left over product then to stretch the epoxy out and go skimpy. I invested too much already in the preparation of the floor. Did anyone else use this product and have similar problems with coverage? How about with other Epoxy coverings?
On the plus side, on the part we did not go skimpy on, it looks great! Nice and glossy! AND we haven't even put the high gloss clear coat over it yet!
Thanks!

Best bet would be to call up the company and talk to a supervisor and tell them the situation. You called them with your measurements and it seems they have failed twice with the amount of product costing you more money and time. As for your problem with the spot you spread out, maybe another coat on that section could be done to fill it in.
