A little add-on for the toys

If it were me, I'd complain that the 3/8 of an inch would cause me to trip and smack my face into the stairs. Then you could turn around and sue the City for your dental bills and grief. Say hello to a new 911GT3, compliments of the City.

Very nice build and garage! I'm in Excelsior and building a house with 2 attached garages and spancrete planks - in fact they are installing the spancrete right this second - I can hear the crane running right now!!!
I'm wondering what you did for insulation/water-proofing on your spans and who your sub was. I have Metro Home Insul lined up currently, but I would take any referrals or suggestions - so far I'm very happy with Metro on the other parts of the house.
I noticed you also used Molin and they have been great (Roxann and Eric are wonderful to work with). Did you have any funkiness crop up that would be good to know?...although not much I can do about that now - they are here!
I'm putting a lift in on my spans and I'm wondering if you have done that since this build/thread or thought about that as well and if you have any experience there you can pass on?
Any other information you can pass on would be most appreciated. See my build thread for details about my build/intentions.
Thanks!

Looks flat out amazing Dave. I've been following this thread since the first day, but this is my first post. Have to love the inspectors. Keep up the great work can't wait to see the finished product.

A little insanity...
I call to get the final inspection of the garage, arrange the visit with the builder and the city.... The inspector makes the builder add 3/8" to the lowest step because it's not equal to all the other steps.
They should put this guy on our bridges.
Amazing stupidity
P.S. At least I'm ripping it all out and replacing it with something nicer.

1. His wife must beat him.
2. Small man complex (not talking about his stature).
3. His job is the only means of getting an ounce respect.
Saves you a trip to an anger management class.
