It's cold here, about 15F. It was close to 8F all day.

I was playing with the IR camera looking at the garage and found that I can see into the walls.

I've been looking at heaters and I convinced the local IR panel rep to loan me a 2'x2' panel for the weekend. Here's the panel in operation:



Here's the car that is about 5' away



Hot and cold points are shown in each image.

The heat registered on the car is very low.
The panel is running at 405W

The contractor recommends 2 4'x2' plus one 2'x2' to heat the garage.

I'm not sure I believe this is better than forced air heat.

Ended up with a gas heater. About $2K



Bonus: Ribs from last fall. Just before they went into the deep fryer.

What a great addition! I used to live in Wayzata...are you near Lake Minnetonka? I miss that area, but not the 6' of snow.

my lotus does sleep with some nice company though. couple m3, AM v8, 2 996tt, Zo6 ect.
