What cabinets do you recommend?
Next question:
What cabinets do you recommend? I am looking at the Craftsman lines as well as Gladiator. Is Gladiator worth the extra $$$?
I thought of building my own since I am a decent wood worker and have all the tools necessary, but getting that nice finish is difficult (something I am still working on).
I also took current pics of my garage, but I won't post them for fear that I will be banned!
Happy New Years to you all.

Yes. Gladiator is better stuff. I decked my whole garage out with that stuff. It's not cheap, but it seems to be very sturdy.
I went with these over the wood alternative because my garage is not air conditioned and we live on the salt water. My old cabinets actually started to completely fall apart. Although to their credit they were up there a long time.

I put the Gladiator stuff in my garage about 18 months ago. It is a bit more expensive, but looks and feels like much higher quality than the other products that I have seen (other than the really expensive professional garage stuff).

it's good stuff if you have unlimited resources or are using it in a commerical application.
i think for most homes the gladiator stuff will more than suffice. really depends on how far you want to take your garage and how much you're willing to invest in the room where you store your bicycles and christmas decorations

I agree - Gladiator unless you want to spend Uberbucks on the "good stuff".
I've been very happy with the sturdiness, versatility and, so far, durability of Gladiator. All depends on how you're going to use it too.
