Ideas For beautifying a small "Two Car"
I've noticed some of you have some really awsome "car houses" that...well..quite frankly i'd be happy to live in
I'm sure some of you who live in more dense urban areas must have some nice looking garages as well. I've got a 2 car garage space to work with and will be working on it during the summer. Any ideas or photos to inspire me would be great.
I call it a 2 car right now, but i have ample parking space outside for other cars so i can make it into a 1 car.
will post up some pics and dimensions later but if i had to hazard a guess i'd say.... about 20 feet wide and maybe a meter longer than my 996 if i park it nose to the wall. Not enough room for a full lift, but i dont really need a lift at home.
something "clubhouse-esque" would be nice so in the few blistering summer months we get here i can open up the front door and have people over to work on cars and or get very hammered
Floor would have to be durable to deal with a canadian winter (cold/salty) so i'm thinking that paint on granit stuff would be acceptable since it comes in a bunch of colors.

1. Paint the walls a bright color and add a stripe across - $100
2. Add some new light fixtures to the ceiling to brighten up the space - $150
3. Roll out some epoxy floor coating - $100
4. Some cool car signs/decorations - $200
5. Decent garage cd player - $250
6. Mini-fridge - $150
That should have it pretty cool without spending a grip.

I would say get some tiles for the floor, put some drywall up and paint it an off-white color, put in some canned lights, and maybe a new garage door. After about $5,000 or so, it would be awesome!
