That site above is run by people with an agenda. It will take about ten seconds of reading it to figure out what it is

If you want to buy a jammer that works, jump on this GB. If you want a gimmick, buy something else (which is essentially all that that site above is pushing. They like the Laser Star and K40 for cryin' out loud. Who in their right mind believes the K40 is a good product???).

I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I actually went out on the road with two police lasers. I could not get a reading coming or going with either of them with the LI activated. Combine that with the only "independent" testing at GOL and I'm sold.

I'm not going to continue defending this product. You either want it or you don't. I'm not losing sleep either way. It's a great product at a reasonable price, and more importantly, it works. Buy the K40 or laser star. Be sure to scan those speeding tickets so we can all check them out online

 

DD...I was supporting you and showing that the main site quotes showing an issue has since retested and has suggested it as a buy item.

Hence I said bad timing since I would be all over your gb but am saving for a paint job.

I understand where you were going, but that group is, or should I say was, a Laser Star distributor. In an effort to save some sort of credibility they were forced to barely admit that the product works, but still had many negative things to say. It's a site with an agenda.

 

I was just saying that I trust a 6speeders first hand test and showing the fact that the LI was rested with an avg. punch through of 171' and giving a buy rating by the previous posters example site. Thus people on this GB should negate the previous posters issues.

 

Thanks Flyer. I appreciate the sentiment. I am grateful that I'm not in this industry as I've never seen another type of business where competitors are willing to flat out publicly lie in an effort to promote their own products. Every time this subject comes up on any board it's always surrounded in controversy.

Well this is goin to stir up alot of trouble but it has to be told.....

My name is John W. and I am known as Audi Quattro from this site. Myself and JTW worked on the Laser Star Jammer for over 2 years with Neil Brown in the UK bringing up the laser star from a total POS jammer to the final product that we were very happy about and made alot of videos about. I have a 2 head laser star on my Audi and it still works great and has saved me alot and I mean alot but if it starts acting up I have no were to go but another jammer system and it wont be...Laser Star.

The final product worked very well and I became the US Rep. for Laser Star and did very well but....we had alot of returns due to faulty heads and control boxes. We were in constant contact with Neil Brown to inform him about our concerns and how to fix the problems in the control boxes and the *3 beep* problem*.

Most of the problems were fixed and we would recieve the next shipment of the new and improved heads and control boxes a few weeks later and continue testing. Things were going very well.....but then we started getting the same crap we sent to Neil Brown back thinking it was new shippments for customers and Neil Brown would make up some excuse like his wife made a mistake and sent the wrong non-working jammers and we would have to wait another 1-2 months just to have the same non-working units on my door step.

It got to the point to where Neil Brown was very hard to reach and when he was reached he would duck the problems we were having so to fix the problems.

So to the members on this board who are wondering after all this has happened why am I....doing this?

Because I was scammed by Neil Brown and he scamming alot of people in Europe because he is selling none working or jammers that will fail very quickly.

I have stopped selling laser stars jammers for about 4 months or so because we never had a large enough shippment that I could sell because we would test every single head and control box to check for quality control issues to see what was good and what was crap and had to be sent back on our dime.

It was alot of fun at the beginning and we had high hopes of being very successful but reality set in because Neil Brown only thinks about him self and did not was us to succeed in the US and did not provide us with enough working units so we would have a large enough stock to work from.

For everyone that called Neil Brown a Scammer...Well you were right on.

I just wanted to tell the truth and it too be known and out there.

I also never scammed anyone and tested the QC of every unit before it went to the customer and provided qreat customer service to any customer who had a control box or jammer heads go bad and sent them tested and working units from my current stock at the time.

If I am banned I will accept that but if there are any questions I will anwser them also.

 

All this BS that you guys post back and forth... Laser Star, laser Interceptor, K40, Escort's etc... Generates a pattern of BS... All of you have an AGENDA that are selling them. Here are a few observations ...

seems every test is done under the right circumstances... when Police are doing LASER... it is under way too many variables...way too many... but for some reason, this and everyone else's product out there work when tested by by them... but end users have problems...

K40 has gotten a bad rep, because Radar Roy and his cronies over the year, who all moved on to other websites and different agendas... were threatened by K40... and on top of it are not allowed to sell it from K40. I am not saying that it is the best in the world... because i have yet to find that product from any manufacturer

Also I would like to note for those that are falling into this marketing trap... how is it that some guy in his basement with a gumball machine engineering degree can design something better than a full fledged corporate engineer with a whole bunch of cash thrown at them (Escort)

Further, how is it that they don't offer the speeding ticket guarantee, if you get a ticket using their product they will reimburse you the ticket for a period of one year? which brings up another question/statement.. how is it that K-40 can offer this with a product that retails for $319 (defuser EX) and includes labor and mark-up? Business 101/marketing 101 to any professional, and anyone with a basic 4th grade math on here can tell you that if an average ticket is $160 then they will be losing money on the product... So what is the catch? and that is just considering the dealer cost of the unit, not production costs.

So to sum it up, is any of these 100% not a chance, conditions vary, and eventually you will get a ticket.

I love when the person said that their Valentine 1 got them out of a laser speeding ticket... V1 has no countermeasures, you just weren't going fast enough for the cop to care! 12MPH over is what draws an interest, then seeing how much over that and if they think they can get a bigger fish... they might just not care enough to pull one over...

Hope it makes sense to those that don't understand

basically if it was fool proof then they would back it up with a 3 year warranty and a 1 year ticket guarantee... Any of these companies out there... So I guess K40 has the edge when it comes to marketing a professional product to the person with common sense.

 

Why do you continue to pollute my thread? This is a LI group buy thread. You're a K40 dealer. How bout' you start your own thread???

With regards to your warranty.... Big deal. So K40 pays for your ticket. Whoopdeedooo. K40 is banking on the fact that A) you won't get a ticket (I've only had two laser incidents in the past 6 months and I drive 50K miles per year) and B) you won't actually submit the ticket for reimbursement. It's the same thing as those lifetime car power train warranties. They're banking on the fact that you either won't own the car long enough to submit the claim or you're too lazy to submit it if you do keep the car.

K40 is a marketing machine. Plain and simple... They've done a great job of convincing high end dealers that they've got a good product and that it works. However, at the end of the day, look at the tests.... The LI is the only one that keeps performing over and over. I'm sorry that you don't sell LI, but get over it.

If your product was that good, you wouldn't even be involved in this thread. Viral marketing would be doing the job for you. However, you're clearly intimidated by this product and you feel the need to disparige it at every opportunity. Do everyone a favor and just go away. This is a LI thread. I'm a consumer that is very pleased with the product. I'm not a dealer. I'm probably the only one in this thread that at one point got paid to write speeding tickets.... As a former LEO, I'm incredibly impressed with this product and fully endorse it. So much so that I purchased one at full retail over 6 months ago for my daily driver and have no complaints so far.

The bottom line.... LI works. Use it or don't. I have no vested interest. I would like to get a group of us together to help reduce the cost though. Between the GOL test, my own independent tests, and the interactions that I've personally had since installing the LI, I have the utmost confidence that the product works as advertised.
