Any have/can share pics of there installation point on a Cayenne TT?

 

This looks awesome. Are there any cons of having these jammers? When the officer can't get a read with the gun, won't he assume that one is installed and then pull you over for it? Sorry, this may have already been addressed, but there are just too many pages to read through. Thanks for the help!

Exactly!! It will save you hands down if you are going 10-15 over the speed limit, but if you are obviously speeding the troooper/cop will pull you over anyway.

My neighbor is a police man he said if he knows someone is speeding I'm pulling them over end of story. As much as I want to believe it would help I doubt it would.

I drive the speed limit +5 or so ......... or I'm 100mph+.

 

Question, I understand they know your speeding. They have nothing on you (readings) but for safety or whatever reason they still pull you over and then what????

I was a cop for almost 20 years. People don't get pulled over just because they were going fast. You need to have a reading from a device, a pace, or vascar. I'm not saying people aren't going to lie, but it's very unusual and there are plenty of folks out there actually speeding that they can get a reading on. Lasers are not fool proof and are sometimes unable to get a reading on a vehicle without a jammer depending on its color and shape. Cops don't freak out if they can't get a lock, they just move on to the next car.

To be clear I dont have a detector or jammer currently. I was just pointing out we live in America and you need a bit more than just "nothing". Sure you can even get pulled over doing 15mph if your in the wrong place and time, that means nothing though. I never get affended the few times I have been pulled over. I am always polite and they are too. We go about our own ways.

So I do believe if you have the money for gadges, right color car, etc... you can beat a ticket easily. But that does not give anyone the right to drive like an @ss. If you can safely maintane your speed great. But if you are doing triple lane switches every 5 seconds and 20+ over everyone elses speed. Then believe me you there are two options you hurt someone (forget about you) or you will definitly pickup a reckless driving ticket as a min.

 

Are these still available or is the new Blinder 47 as good/better?

 

I can make a phone call. As long as Blinder isn't using laser diodes, it will never be as good as LI. The Blinder is a good jammer for folks who can't afford the best protection available. You can guy a whistler radar detector, but why would you when V1 and Escort makes such great products?

Laser diodes have the same reliability and failure issues as the same or worse than (LED) light emitting diodes. So how is that better than Blinder? In addition Laser diodes are subject to catastrophic optical damage (COD) when operated at higher power. The reliability of a laser diode can make or break a product line. Moreover, "reverse engineering" is not always able to reveal the differences between more-reliable and less-reliable diode laser products.
Led's in the Blinder system works great enough to not need Laser Diodes making it the good price that it is.

 

My LI stopped working about a month ago but I haven't had time to check the wires till today. Wires are fine. Is there warranty on the module??
