batman46 is infamous around these parts
Hard water spots: I would love to use your product regularly, to reduce maintenance issues. However, before I added a water softening filter to my hose bib, I developed hardwater spots on my windshield and rear window that are not coming off with the usual vinegar, etc. Any suggestions for removing the dried spots or are they permanently etched into the glass now??

have you tried claying your windshield?
polishing?

if all else fails you might need an acid based product to remove them
