JIC CROSS Coilovers - Special Setup
We have a bunch of these JIC CROSS Coilovers instock the 996TT. Before the end of the month, we want to move them What is the story behind them Cross coilovers?
Jon the owner of JIC USA, a division of JIC Japan, is a huge Porsche guy. Having raced Porsche's in Japan and Canada, Jon released an entire line up for the Porsche cars last year. JIC FLTA2 have been around the high end Japanese market for years and Vivid Racing has first hand experience using them on everything from street cars, road racing, and drifting. I have personally run them on my C2 and now my TT.
An Indy Car suspension specialist here in AZ who does Moton setups for Porsche cup cars took a ride in mine after corner balancing it to GT2 specs. His exact words were, "wow, I cant believe how fast they react to the road like the $5000 Motons do. The adjustability and quality is up there!" This guy knows his suspension and it was an honor for him to set the car up and have respect for the product.
The JIC Cross coilovers for the Porsche 996TT are truly an intense piece of engineering. The Monotube shock design features 16 way adjustable dampening (rebound and compression in one), adjustable ride height with helper springs, front camber plates for additional adjustability and rear pillowball mounts for a firmer ride and handling. The coilovers come preset in height to our specs by JIC and valved to the way we want them. Each set includes spanner wrenches for height adjusting and turn ***** for adjusting the dampening.
The front coilovers include heavy duty sway bar endlinks and feature an inverted shock design. The coilovers come with an 9kg front and 12kg rear spring rate. However, we can custom set the coilovers up for you using softer or stiffer springs and changing the nitrogen gas depending on your driving conditions, weight, and needs!
I have ran these coilovers on about 6 different cars of mine from a RX8, 240sx drift car, EVO Road Race Car, and now my Porsche. You will get the best ride, handling, and adjustability with these coilovers guaranteed! So its time to upgrade and get the best handling your 996TT deserves. Throw away the PSS9, the H&R, and step up.
I have special pricing on the coilovers for Forum Members, PM me or Email me. I am also offering a $150 instant rebate off the purchase price or to be used on express shipping! If interested and you want to discuss a setup for your vehicle, contact me!
Or you can order online

These were fitted on my newly aquired 996 Turbo and I've got to say they are fabulous!
My previous car was a 993 C2 coupe, lowered way down RS style, it was fitted with PSS9's.
The JIC's are light years better

Personally speaking having owned and installed many sets of JIC/Cross coilovers. Even before JIC/Zeal came to the states these have been a great suspension system. These are top notch and provide alot of adjustability. Great ride quality as well as being a serviceable coilover.

How low can it go... you can get about 2.5-3 inch of drop on them. Most guys run them at about 1.7inch drop. If you PM me or email me, I can give you that 997 price. I have it INSTOCK.
Do I replace broken drop links. Well no. I would call Paul at JIC-Magic.com and let him know your situation, since they are the manufacturer, they will take care of you no problem!

Is that the actual photo, of the coilovers for a 996TT... or do they have the purple springs? I'm asking because I will be in the market for coilovers in the near futue and the purple springs have been the only disincentive (based on my research) to go with the JIC's aside from performance.

That is the actual photo of the product. The older ones had the purple springs but to seperate them from the Japanese Car Product, all CROSS has these colors now.
