Nitto NT01 Tires

Hello,

Interested in some NT01 tires, I currently use the same front size tire but my rear is 305/35/18. I noticed the rears you are selling are 315/30/18, aren't they about 0.5 inches shorter in overall height/diameter? Are there any negative or positive effects running the 315?

Thanks

Ed

Hi Ed, you will be fine. It's a really common tire size for the GT3.

Will these work for sure on the 997.1 GT3?? A couple people have expressed to me their concerns that with a 2007 GT3 this size combination may cause problems with ABS, traction control, or other electronics. I love the NT01's on a Boxter and Cayman S, and would run this size on my "new" 997.1 GT3 if there will not be any such problems.
THANKS

I spoke with Sharif on this one. He insists there is no reason, when running this tire size, that there should be no problems with any electronics whatsoever.

It's a car we prepped for a customer but not our shop car. We wish them the best of luck!

I wish NT01's came in fitments for 997 cars....the 997 requires the rear to be around 3% larger than the front.

245/40/18 and 305/35/18 work and so does 255/35/18 and 315/30/18.

Nitto needs a 305/35/18 for rear or a 255/35/18 for front to make either of these combo's work for 997 based cars.
