Supersprint, that's interesting. We are all very familiar with this company, long standing name. The center muffler looks nice and I guess those are race cats (200 cell). I am running the Supersprint headers (expensive) on my E60 M5 and the design and quality are on the money but the remainder of the exhaust, pipes and cans I took off because the sound sucked. I would ask if Eisenmann makes exhaust systems for Porsche? Need more info on the muffler from SS. The FVD cats are nice and are part of the headers so I wouldn't need cats. The choices are openning up.

SuperSprint are amazing interms of quality, I've used their parts in the past but the only drawback is that they are expensive and thats probably got to do with made in Italy and expensive labour.

Hey now that looks hot! Just by the looks I would dare say this system rocks.
997RSFOREVER can you get us more information about this system and pricing? Man I got to look at it again but the turn up of the header collector and then down seems redundant.
Beautiful components.

The supersprint website has nothing on this header system.
Would really be grateful for additional information. It seems you have info on all GT3/RS exhaust systems.
Thanks again,
Juan

I am trying to get more information on the new Quicksilver system as well. Very condensed package and very low weight.

I spoke w/ BMP Supersprint yesterday and was told the SS headers and exhaust system will not go into production until May '08.
They would tell me or they know nothing else about the product. I asked about any known power gains and the answer was, "we do not know".
The picture looks like it may have been from SEMA. Anyone who went see this display?
Just have to wait, cheers

I am having a hard time realizing the claimed weight savings. I would like to see an itemized description of the weights of what comes off and what goes on. The initial claim of 66 lbs. just didn't fly and 52 lbs still seems too much. I want a detailed list as should be put forward.
FVD's claim of 39 lbs is accurate. If someone wants the detailed description I will produce it.
There hp gains need to be demonstrated with dyno proof and better yet from a customer. Does QuickSilver produce their own ECU software or do they have someone else do it.
The pure hardware the these headers is beautiful and appear to demonstrate an equal-length tube design. The 200 cell cats are in the rear center section which may be salient to the issue of the weight savings.
I look forward to reading more information on this system.
I love my FVD headers but I'm still open to any additional info. for my RS.
Cheers guys,
Juan
