With so many wrecked already should be a high collector item before the end of the decade.

Your US dollar is making Canada into an exotic car dreamland. With banner years in the finance, oil and real estate markets up here, everyone seems to be importing a Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo or something exotic from the USA.

It's amazing how the world goes in cycles; I remember feeling annoyed at all of our nice 993's going down south in the late 90's and early 2000's and now here we are, completely opposite.

Anyhow, I'm doing my part to prop up the US dollar, I've switched the majority of my equities from Canadian to USA denominated Let's hope it was the right decision!

You got to love the approx 1-to-1 exchange.

But if this keeps up, soon we'll be able to wipe our asses w/a buck and think nothing of it!

Champion Motors (aka Bentley and Lamborghini Long Island) has been selling CGTs to Europe for the past 8 months. Almost every car they get falls to the Euro/Dollar exchange. It is like shopping for high end merchandise at Costco. I remember when my wife's friends used to buy things for each other on European trips because of the "discount". The pendulum has swung all the way to other side...now they aren't even taking the trips!!

Hi stetty,

How do you know Bentley/Lamborghini LI has been selling their CGTs to clients in Europe? I've always been impressed w/ the number of CGTs that come through their doors. Always wondered how they managed to move them fairly quickly. Thanks!

Matter of fact I swang by Bentley/Lamborghini LI today. I saw two CGTs sitting on their showroom floor. Both GT Silver.

Both probably heading to Europe. When the Chineese get the appetite for 'em they'll surely end up w/a load of them as well....

One new CGT from my dealer sold directly to China...approved by PCNA. The appetite has already started. There is an official Porsche and Ferrari dealer in Shanghai I believe.

Ya, look out for the Chinese buyers!!! And most likely majority will end up wrecked out there since most of them are new rich drivers!!! Not much discipline on the road yet! But they've got dealerships of most exotics, just a matter of time they eat up the remaining units out there.

We get their lead paint and tainted food and they get our CGT's. A fair exchange.
