Talked to BHF...they don't even know what a Scud will sell for, let alone their markup. LA Auto Show doesn't even have a US spec Scud..don't think there are any.

Whoever said +$100k is in the neighborhood. The list is long w/"I WANT IT NOW" money....must be nice to be a Fcar salesman.

Find it very hard to belive anyone can get one at MSRP, unless they are letting their dealer sell their 599, F40, Daytona, 288 and 250SWB...then I can understand the transaction. Guys who have bought 10-15 fcars aren't even getting a break. Its the pay more and you'll show who has the bigger one....fcar guys are a strange, but blessed bunch!

Congratulations on the F car. The 360's are very solid. FWIW, the 360/430 F's make me like Porsches more. I've never lost that feeling of when I get in a 911. It always feels like home.

Very nice color combo! I've seen a silver 360 in person with black interior and it did nothing for me. The red looks great!

Picked up the car today....
Mixed emotions. ... If you have never driven a 360 you need to. The car has a ton of what I like about the early Porsche cars. Very simple interior, Gauges are great, easy to use. Reminds me of my 964 RS. The car feels very light, Revs very quickly and is very nimble. At full throtle with no TC on the tire smoke like a mustang. Amazing how the rear engine Porsche cars hook up so much better. The car handles really good and the Power is much better than I thought it would be.

Fit and finish is not good. They rattle can the entire jams of the car black. All around the engine and behind the doors and under the hood, is flat black rattle can.... Amazing, It is imposible to tell if the car had been wrecked, You can see factory tape lines and overspray. It is no Porsche, The quality is not there in the finish.

The car is a great looking car and wonderfull to drive. The feel is amazing, Power is just right. brakes are o.k. Interior second to none. Gear shifter is o.k. Can't imagine with paddle shifter, Would take all the fun out of driving. Slotted shifter feels good, but not Porsche. Sound is good, needs aftermarket exhaust. Engine in the rear veiw mirror is very cool. Terrible blind spot, almost wacked a truck first 5 minutes on the road.

The worst thing about the car is the reaction from people. It is terrible.... I drove it for 1 hour today. Every one looks at it, pictures, etc... It is already driving me nuts....I have heard about it, it is way worse than I thought it would be. It is 1/2 the car of my GT3 and gets 10 times the looks. Ferrari has done a great job with there image.

I hope the car hold up, so far it is enjoyable to drive, not a GT3 or RS car, but well worth the purchase.

What you say is true... we will see if I can get a Scud for list or not...

Then again, with all due respect, based on your statement, you probably don't have the same kind of personal relationships that I do. That's also why I have a confirmed order (march build) for one of the first 997 GT2's at MSRP.

Crossed over to the F car side.

Anyone else done the same. Do not get much feed back from the F car guy's.

I pick the car up next week. Looking foward to driving the car like a Porsche.
I hope it holds up.

I feel fortunate to be able to drive my TR one day and the GT2 the next. Both rewarding yet different cars. Yup, the TR gets the reaction and long-looks most of time, yet I see longer stares from women on the GT2. My first thoughts after driving the GT2 were: wow, it's fast, I can see out of it, I can get in/out without hitting my head, and it's not leaking oil. Still, I can't see myself without a Ferrari. Enjoy.
