A gentleman in OC bought a 2005 with just over 6k miles on it from a dealer in Riverside for less than 140k, as I recall from what he told me. Given that, $170k seems a little steep.

Wasn't this same dealer asking $198k only a couple of months ago?

Yeah...same dealer was asking sticker for it (199k). They've lowered the price to "blow it out".

Considering the rarity of this car and the fact that it's brand new, I think it's well worth that price.

James purchased the other 2005 with 6K miles. I talked to him two Saturdays ago at the Ford parking lot car show in Irvine. He will be present at the next OC Speed Challenge. Very rare car at 1 of 5. In 2004 they only made 24 GT2's. Also, James' 2005 GT2 was manufactured in 9/2004 and the MSRP was $199,000. How do I konw, he gave me the vin and I researched the car for him.
