I was #1 on North Olmsted Porsche list back in May, the owner, Bernie Moreno pulled my agreement when he found out he could sell for over sticker. We need to boycott dealers like this.

You'd made the better choice...that's one hot G ride. For $200K, any dealer should be wiping your **** with that kind of commission.

YOu GT2 guys need to start an info thread and let everyone know whom is doing what to WHom. now that the dealers are becoming more brazen in ripping us off we can document all this crap and let PCNA now what we think. I have my second GT3 after a 993 TT. After going through all this crap in getting a plain jane 997GT3 as opposed to the impossible RS i am seriously thinking of other things besides Porsche(for the first time since I was 10 in 1969). In fact my last 2 cars were the 06 BMW X5 4.8is and the 07 BMW Z4Mcoupe. I should write PCNA just based on my experiences. But after hearing what PCNA has done to customers all over the US, I dont know if I will go to a dealer now for my next automotive purchase.

I exchanged some emails with the PCNA Midwest GM then wrote him a letter to document my complaint and haven't heard anything back. They can't really control the dealers. He did say his allocation wasn't formalized back then, so maybe they pulled it, who knows.

I agree, I would love to start a sticky of dealers to avoid....

Let all the idiots pay 50k over. They will soon lose that plus the 50-80k in depreciation.People who make foolish investments like that do not stay wealthy long.

Congrats Rob! I was just asking about you at Lucent on Friday and they told me about your new toy. Fantastic choice and enjoy it in health. Look forward to checking it out.

So, I still don't get it. Why wouldn't your dealership sell you a GT2?

They probably figured they could get more than 200k from someone else.

Porsche won't need to. The economy will.

I have been saying this for a while, these dealers will reap what they saw. Remember the days when a 993 sat on the lot for 6 months?

Soon enough, the eligible buyers will go back to normal when the HELOC "ballers" get the rugs yanked right out from under them.

+1 and that's why I have a Stradale in the garage instead of a 7 RS. And that's why I'll also line up for a GTR.
