Since the dealer refused to sell me the GT2 I got this:
I was ready and willing to part with my $200K for the new 997 GT2 but the dealer decided to not sell me the car. So I had to "settle" for this and boy am I happy!!

they pulled the rug out on me too. Told me they would order one in White with limited optioins and give me a call after they took a look at the market.
In other words... Your money is not any good to us intil we run a market research test. If they are selling over MSRP we will auction it off. If they are not that hot we will call you and let you buy it. I thought the F car dealers were bad...
I don't think I will ever buy a new car from a dealer agian....

unfortunately I don't think they are going to care in this case... they are set to overprice the GT2's as soon as they arrive and its the only thing they care about...

It really ticks me off that you can't get the best cars Porsche makes these days, GT3, RS, GT2. I have tried to find an allocation for the new GT2 with no luck. My dealer said his three allocations went to the same buyer for 50k over.
