What were the issues you had with your CS asides from being slow?

Under acceleration NOTHING sound better than a CGT. However, if not under acceleration then many cars sound better.
I would be driving the CGT on a highway at steady throttle and there isn't much of a sound. Mustangs would zoom by me sounding more aggressive. However, once I put the CGt in gear and under full throttle lord it brings on an orgasm.

Hi vincentdds,
I think the CS is a great performer, sounds and looks awesome and is near indestructible. I sold mine after a few months to get a GT2, my third. My primary issues with the CS are drivetrain related. First, I think the transmission is horrible; simply one of the worst I've ever experienced. Plus I like to shift for myself. Nuff said. Second, the motor lacks torque and is materially overrated on both torque and horsepower. There are some old threads on FChat from CS owners that dyno'ed their cars after they'd been broken in that make for good reading. The numbers were embarrassingly poor; other OEMs have seen class action lawsuits for less egregious reporting errors. Overall I think the CS is a great track weapon when wrung at out 10/10ths but suprisingly poor for most other conditions. I undertand the CS was not meant for gathering groceries but it just didn't suit my requirements the way my GT2 or even RS did. The CGT on the other hand is IMO a no compromises sports car. It combines all the best elements of the above into one vehicle.

Doc., I love the sound of the CGT. The Challenge Stradale sounded good in that video but would not have turned my head, The CGT on the other hand,(in stock form), is heavenly and symphonic.. I am not a proponent of the straight pipes on the CGT because it has been played out.. There is only a couple sounds like a stock CGT, itself and Formula 1 machines. Just my .02 worth..

You cannot even compare. The CGT has no equal in that department.

In my experience, the only thing that has sounded better than the CS has been the CGT. Incredible sound on throttle blips, wonderful under acceleration....I have yet to hear it as a pedestrian passing by though.
Start it up, let the fluids come up to temp, and blip the throttle a couple of times...100% guaranteed to induce jaw aching grins from friends everytime

After listening to it a few more times. I dont think you can hear the GT properly. I think maybe the mic was too far away but ususally the GT has an amazing sound to it and I did not hear that at all on that GT in the video

In this particular video the CS sounds much better and is familiar in its high pitched note........however that said, the CGT in the video doesn't sound like other CGTs I have heard in the past.
