+1
You should't track with powder coated wheels.

i believe stock gt3 wheels are powdercoated, at least that is what steve at MAAS brothers said. The two stage process is powdercoating it twice, the gloss is part of the powder coating. I chose to do 30% gloss and 70% matte. It will come out looking like satin black.

That would not be accurate. OEM wheels are painted.

I was in Maas Brothers Tuesday afternoon to check on my race pedals that Steve is powder coating black for me and spotted your "silver" wheels in the warehouse awaiting new paint.

Please let us know your impression with the quality and durability once you have them installed.

I know they will look fantastic!
Hi mixedmac,
Any word on your wheels yet? I really want to see them on your car and your thoughts. Steve and company at Maas Brothers do very good work. I have had many parts powder coated for my bikes, motorcycles and cars. I just picked up and installed my pedals for my Porsche that they powder coated in wrinkle finish black.

Hello guys, can anyone advise the contact and address info for the MAAS Brothers? I am looking to paint/powercoat the BBS Motorsports rims for my GT3 to satin black. Please advise the approximate costs for doing so if possible. Thank you all for the help.

The address is:
285 S Vasco Rd
Livermore, CA 94551

From South Vasco Rd. turn West onto Las Positas Rd. and the business is 150 yards down on the left.

Good luck!

here are a couple of up close pictures, one without the center cap, the other with a center cap. I actually painted the center cap myself to match the color and finish of the wheels. MAAS brothers did a awesome job on the wheels.

and these are some miscellaneous ones with the Smurf. Can anyone guess what the wheels on the M3 are? The front tire size gives a big hint.
