Ram Air - FVD or GMG?

Hi

I'm considering adding a ram air spoiler to my '04 GT3. FVD offers a unit for $323, then I'd have to have it painted. Anyone have an idea what painting might cost? I'll assume I can do the install.

GMG Racing has a carbon fiber unit for $790. I think this might look good with my RS cf wing blade.

Anyone have either unit who can provide comments on quality?

Thanks

Joe,
As previously mentioned I have the GMG RS air scoop in CF. Did not paint b/c matches the CF RS wing fairly closely. Scoop build quality is very high and was able to DIY install w/dbl sided tape. CF quality is also very high.
If you are going to paint, price wise the FVD unit may be the way to go.
Performance wise, my butt dyno doesn't actually feel anymore until after 100mph.
Cheers.

Since you referred me to GMG, should have thought to ask. I'm thinking I'd leave it bare to match the wing. Trying to get a comparison of FVD plus painting to the GMG price. Thanks.

You go faster than 100 mph in your car!!! WOW!!!
