Shouldn't the face of the speedo say "GT2" also?

 

This car has come up a couple of times and the experts here have provided the history and torn it apart. Stay away!

 

Yup, I remember seeing this car for sale a few months ago. Someone posted the link. It doesn't look like a real GT2 to me either and def looks like it's been tracked.

 

Nonetheless, it shows as sold for $79900. S/N suggests it is a real GT2, presuming that's been listed truthfully. Never know for sure whether it is really sold on ebay until a new owner emerges on this forum.

 

What about this one? It seems like it will go for a pretty decent price...

I carfax'd it and indeed it shows up as a GT2 (assuming real VIN was used in the ebay ad). Also, vehicle history show's 2 owners, FL car, pretty basic history, no accidents reported to carfax, no issues, nothing "weird" about it. Obviously, we know that carfax is not a definitive source...

 

Huge thread on that car as well, it WAS going for a amazing price, but because it had some serious previous damage!

Yup.. Well guess what, someone updated his thread and saw it on ebay for sale AGAIN, with paint damage mentioned but for cosmetic reasons, when in fact it had serious frame damage and so on! The thread was closed today.

 

Why was the thread closed? Shouldn't people know the history on the car

 

Not unless it's affiliated with a high paying sponsor. Mumm's the word then.

I lost track how many times Chicago Motor Cars (CMC, Parin Shah) was caught lying about the car in that thread.

And, they still continue to list the car for sale without disclosure and are still entertaining offers on the car despite it "not being for sale to the public".

Unreal for sure. I for one take back my comment, in thinking it was a mistake, he's an honest guy for sure. I at least thought he was, this is unacceptable 10x over!

 

for the 100th time the car is being listed for sale knowing there is paintwork. i have a full ppi from porsche stating all original body panels and no frame damage. frame damage was announced when the car was bought at the auction. to protect porsche financial from the paint work..

the car is f____en cheap.....

give it a rest..

I will assure you the new owner will be informed in regards to everything and get a smokin deal.
