Anyone have pics CCW C14's on their RS?

I just got a set of 18" C14's in black and they're really sunken in the wheel well...i am running -2.5degrees camber in rear. Order CCW C14 to accomodate OEM spacer in rear. Is it me...or does something NOT look right??

They fit better on my brother's 997 GT3 (non-RS)

Man james, you are gonna kick *** on the track with 18"s!!! I think the best person to ask is John Hua as he's running 18s too. I wonder if his look this way too. Could be because the RS is wider?

I have a bunch of track pictures but am not able to post that I can email. Or I can take a picture in the garage. Is your car lowered at all. What size tires are you running.

Looks like you have a set for a narrow body 997 (GT3-68mm offset). You need to have 12" rear with around a 50mm offset. If these were made for a widebody 997 (GT3RS, Turbo) they would not fit a narrow body 997.

Did you buy these new from CCW?

If so, contact John (owner of CCW) and discuss your options.

John is a good guy!

You should have no problem fixing the issue, just be sure you tell him the offsets you need.

It looks as if its for a narrow body car, and if it indeed is a 12" rear, it could be ALL OFFSET in conjunction with your alignment/camber setup.

IMO just because it doesn't fill out the fender doesn't mean its "off" , tons of track car's have tucked wheels even though they are wide.

Zona:

You're right, just spoke w/ John at CCW and he's extremely accomodating. Just a simple mixup and the set i have is for the narrowbody GT3. It's 1/29 (Tues) and JOhn said he'll have a new set airfreighted to me for pick up at the airport on 2/1 (Friday). Now that's some GREAT customer service....talk about knowing how to WOW your customer.

I'm very pleased.

Thanks for your help.

Yep.........John is a GREAT guy and runs an awesome operation!
I just happened to be on business last year the week of the Daytona 24. I stopped by to say hi and John gave me a 3 hour tour of the operations. I don't know if many people realize it but all CCW wheels are made right their at the Daytona factory. He has the latest state of the art CNC machines!
Happy to hear it was a simple fix!

Have you trade your orange GT3-RS for a green? If yes, it is a very good choice.( In my eyes the best.)
