anybody have any guess on when we see this car produced ? I put a deposit down two years ago for the CGT replacement but had no iea what it would be I guess this is it ?

Some time ago I was involved in a discussion on another forum where someone who had been talking to some Porsche engineers at Petit Le Mans, said that one of them had let slip out that Porsche was building a V8 engine for GT racing.
I would not be at all surprised if this is not the car that will take that new engine!

That looks awesome. And while people (Nissan, Chevy, Lexus, Pagani) are still trying to catch up with yesterdays Porsche Dominator, they come out with a whole new one to smash everyone, I like it.

Don't think they'd release the photo like that plus it's a GT + GT1, Porsche is more creative than that.

It's not about the picture!
It's about the fact that Porsche is considering bringing out a new fast sports car, rather than a new SUV or a four door sedan.
I have no problems with them doing that, just as long as they don't forget that they are essentially a sports car company, and thats where their primary focus should be.
The new carrera (or its substitute) will look nothing like the picture.
