Walter rörhl test GT3,turbo and GT2
]
Driver: Walther Röhrl
Track: Hockenheim
Road condition: Wet

GT3 - the champ see red: Walter Röhrls personal favorite is 911 GT3.
GT2 - Caution is required only with switched off ESP. Otherwise the GT2 is very good-natured.
Turbo - Fast, dynamically, reliably: The turbo is the Elfer with net and double soil.
--------------
Winner: GT3 - "For me the GT3 is the super 911. Everything fits perfectly, sound , handling. This is a pure Porsche. It doesnt have Turbos but is more agile, turn in better and feels more direct. Comfort isnt bad either".

he would probably still like the gt3 the best, but the gt2 would be significantly higher than the turbo (understandably so I might add)...

Kinda made me wanna upgrade to 997 GT3 without the heavy sunroof.
I think he also has 997 RS as personal car. Read it in Total 911 magazine several months back.

From what I've read, the new GT2 seats are supposed to be quite nice and supportive. Like the RS seat it is still built from a GRP/carbon shell, but has the folding backrest and thorax airbag. I think you pretty much get the best of all worlds, except for a slight weight penalty.
Rohrl will always prefer the GT3 as a driver's car for it's sheer feel, sound, and agile dynamics. And rightly so, it's the closest thing to a Ferrari 430 that Porsche makes. The GT2 is fun in it's own way, and it's a hell of a lot faster... in fact Rohrl once said something along the lines of the GT2 being the ultimate car for street and track.
