..and it seemed to evoke a lot of passion and opinions.

I pronounce it the "wrong" way, porsh.

How do you pronounce it?

I don't own one but still have to pronounce it Porscha. It's kinda like pronouncing Pneumonia Pa-neumonia?

Well, if we're going to get technical...

Porsche is a family name, and the family members pronounce their surname PORSH-uh, not PORSH! Same for the car.

whelp, i am not going to act high & mighty here....i acutally pronounce it both ways...kinda depends on who im talking to and if i remember the correct way! LOL

I have always known Por-Sha to be the "Correct" way to say it....but to be honest, kinda felt like a snob saying it like that around certain peeps......is that weird?

ya thats the way i look at it to, it all depends on the situation really.

Agreed. Alot of times saying porsch rolls of the tounge better during a sentance. Its just like saying Stang or lambo to me. It is porscha but it flows better at times to say porsch.

I think to many people flip out over it. Im pretty sure almost everyone knows its porscha but just say porsch since its quicker to say.
