Whats a fair price to offer for a RS?

I honestly feel my local dealership is just leading me on with my allocation. So I know someone who paid 35k over thats willing to sell his for his new incoming GT2. He is willing to give me first dibs on his car and I would like to know what is a fair price to offer him. I know he would like to come out almost even to what he paid since some people paid 40-50k 8 months ago to get such a car. The car has a 138k sticker and has all the important options I like. Its orange ,1400 miles, owned by a collector not abused, pccb, leather and xenon. Thanks in advance.

Alvin you are a bad man. As I said don't make me get a wambulance for the Black Series!

I'll keep my eyes open. I'd do a GT3 anyways. Put the LWF, RS wing.. you're done.

I refused to test drive the car. You know what it will end up to if I do I will test it all the way to my garage At this market I have to think twice or even 3x.

it's going to depend on how badly you want it and how badly the seller wants to get rid of it. hope that helps.

Bro you know its been 2 years since the first time I gave them a deposit. They claimed I was #3 and they only got 2 then comes 08 models and still none They did refund my deposit but still I could care less about that. But they promised the 3rd to be mine. But so far its all stories I should have listened to Sharky at day 1 and went to Carlsen but I figured I have a good relationship with Rector and here I am RSless. Maybe its a blessing or maybe its not. The economy sucks but living without the car Im suppose to have sucks more Now I got to bargain on how much over I have to pay to own one used. You know what? F*&^K it Ill just wait and see what the market brings. Ill just keep my cash and figure what to buy next. That Im good at anyways Thanks for all your input guys.

I met one of the members here - mr997 not long ago and he paid $25k from someone in the Midwest. His original price was $38k over. It does look like thismkt's softening up

There is a silver/orange one I saw today in the showroom at Carlsen. Price listed was $134K.

Check on ebay - There is a low mileage orange/black RS available.

My understanding is the dealer is very straightfoward.

Good luck!

30 over 0-300 miles...........deduct $5000 for ever 1000 miles thereafter...so at 1400 miles not being abused/tracked etc 20-23 over would be about right...
