PetFrog Dyno results (18HP/20TQ gain) with GIAC and SharkWerks Straighpipes!!

Well finally got to Dyno my car and I'm very happy.

My car has the following only.

1. GIAC Software (running on 91 pump gas)
2. Sharkwerks custom made Straighpipes

We did only 2 runs and the best run produced the following (Graph will be emailed to me later)

HP 376.5 with the 15% drive train loss on DynoSpot's DynoJet dyno, that equates to 432.975 HP
TQ 278.8 with the 15% drive train loss on DynoSpot's DynoJet dyno, that equates to 320.62 TQ

A stock car always hits around the 415hp and 300tq crank mark after the conversion according to EVO/SharkWerks when they dyno so thats an improvement of 18 WHP/20 TQ over stock

And who said Straighpipes make me lose power I didn't have to spend thousand and thousands of dollars for an exhaust and producing same HP/TQ gains. So I'm one happy camper with an increasing Hearing Loss

Exhaust sounds awesome! I wonder how much of the gain was actually attributed by the GIAC and how much was gained by the straight pipe.

Fred what happened, I thought you had Cargraphic headers (Kit 5)?

I believe you had posted that the system made 23 rwhp?

The cats crapped out at the track sadly and Fred wanted something much much lighter (we saved 65 pounds or so) and he also wanted something a "bit" louder But not bad for some weight savings, a flash and straight pipes

Hey Juan, yeah just like Alex said and I got a new set of cats and still have my cargraphic stage V. I should have dynoed the car when I had that set up. Maybe one day I'll put it back on and compare vs my current set up.

However I'm soo happy with what I have that the Stage V kit is up for sale.

ThisFlyGuy,
No biggy on the scrape as it was just the bottom and did no damage whatsoever. (we were careful getting it up on the dyno so we knew we have enough clearance).

I don't know Kreative customs, but here is where I got it Dyno. My buddy Dick owns the shop http://www.dynospotracing.com/
