Yellow Carrera GT

New CGT owner sounds off
Thanks for the posts re the color breakdown and the formula to establish a present price for the CGT. Acquired a 1500 mi red car 5 days ago. The price formula is very accurate, altho I did better than indicated. Most recent edition of Sports Car Market Magazine sez that prices are going up on the CGT. E.G. they reported the sale of a yellow "05 CGT w/ 500 miles for over sticker..think it was $452k.
Still can't get the car off the line if I'm facing up hill, to any slight degree + takes a while to do it right even on a level surface. Other than that, the car is "To die for" (whatever that expressn really means, u get the idea)

price formula CGT
Think I saw it on "Rennlist" or "Rennteam", essentially = if your dealing w/ an '05 in a desirable/rare color (not silver and maybe not black) the car is worth $400K minus $1000 for each mile on the clock. This presumes a new clutch or a good clutch wear reading. Other stuff too but this is the gist of it
Which car r u getting cetro ?

Dueling CGTs
Neither I, nor anyone I know wants to buy ur yellow CGT but I'm very curious :1) where generally is the car and where r u? 2)At a 31 clutch the car would have zero miles !!!!!? 3) How much r they asking? 4)Does it have the black interior? I was surprised to find that red is just a little bit more rare than yellow.
Altho I originally found my car in Virginia, it was being sold to CNC unless I jumped on it immediately. CNC had pd for the clutch reading so I had that very important 411 immediately. Letting it go to CNC allowed a personal and professional inspection of the car before buying and the option to trade in one or more, of my cars. I did trade in an '07 White GT3. CNC was asking c. $441K.
An LA guy I know, finally sold his red '05 a month ago for $385K. It had almost 3000mi, turns out a 29.7 clutch and some "issues" e.g. needed shocks rebuilt.
Gooood luck. Better check out Insurance situation real well,
