Asking this on a Porsche board??

LP560-4 for me...love the engineering behind the GT2, but a bigger fan of the looks/design of the Lambo.

My personal choice would be the GT2 because it is very rare indeed in the U.S. to even get a spot for one and it is a Superior machine in pure enthusiasts performance levels. If, by chance, you do have the opportunity to purchase a GT2 for yourself, I would highly suggest that you do so, you will not regret it!! Just my .02!!

haha But is all seriousness they are very different I would say. Are you going to tack it? If yes GT2. Do you want to be flashy? If yes then lambo. I would guess depreciation will be so close it shouldn't be a factor. If you want a weekend warrior I say lambo if you want a real car to drive and "connect" with then GT2...

haha, I edited my post since I wanted to answer the question....Jessica is pregnant, Britney is a wreck - not the best analogy, but I was thinking both in "pre-terms". lol!

I don't know what the base cost for the Lambo is, but I'd guess it is at least $30K more than the GT2.

Taking into account the Audi influence with regards to the Lamborghini, would those of you who own or have owned both marks, consider that the reliability of the Lambo is beginning to creep up on the Porsche?

If yes, then I would choose the Lambo. If not, the GT2 for sure.

That is an honest question - in such a way that someday I would prefer to own a performance car with even greater capabilities than the GT2, the looks of the LP560-4, and the build quality of a Swiss bank vault.

I'm going to drive one as soon as they arrive and make a decision then. I've always had Porsches as exotic cars but I think I might be ready for a change.

I've been told that the new Gallardo will be $20K more then the previous gen, so that makes it a $250K car.

Wow, that's tough. I'm probably leaning toward the GT2.
