GT3 w/ sunroof?

I am shopping around for an 07-08 GT3 with no sunroof. If I remember reading correctly this is a cost option. I have been looking on here, autotrader, and cars dot com and can not seem to find a GT3 with no sunroof. Any help or info is welcome.

I am not sure but it comes with the sunroof and the only way to find one without it is if someone special order delete, but I have no actual facts on that I could be wrong, If I am then you get it like it or not. Every one I have seen was with sunroof.

I believe no 997 model (except for the GT3 RS and GT2) will come to the US without a sunroof.

but.. im sure if you really wanted the sunroof delete option, one could just purchase the roof and swap it out add the new B pillar and headliner. wait... why does that sound so familiar what idiot would do that to a US spec car to save 50lbs from the highest point of the car?

I'm going to play devils advocate here for a second, but how much is really sacrificed by having the sunroof? The weight difference on the street is negligible, and on the track it still seems a small burden. I watch some of the greats drive, such as Tiff Needell, and listen to his comments on weight differences, sport buttons, electronic dampening, etc. and he just doesn't get caught up on it. A few extra pounds or gimmicks doesn't bother an accomplished driver like him, so why are we making a big deal of it?

If it adds to the focused feel of the car or you want the headroom for a helmet, OK I get that, but performance wise... really?

RS is the only non-sunroof 997 available. Rumor mill says that all 911 09s will have a delete option...

You'll forget about the sunroof when you drive it.
