Porsche Reports March Sales in U.S.
New GTS Helps Boost Cayenne Sales Up 33 Percent
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars and Cayenne SUVs in the United States, today announced March new-car sales of 2,467 in the United States, representing a 25% decrease from a record March 2007 sales of 3,278.
Porsche's venerable Cayenne series continued to perform impressively. Bolstered by the recently-introduced sporty Cayenne GTS, sales for the popular SUV reached 1,169, an increase of 33% over March 2007 when sales were 877. Year-to-date Cayenne sales were up 11%.
In addition, dealers sold 678 Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned cars in March vs. 609 for the same period last year.

Interesting to note that the Boxster/Cayman is the rarest of the 3 lines.

It looks more like 25 ytd, 10 in March. Of course, that doesn't include any MY08 RS sold last year (November, December, etc.).

Those #s look right to me.

I'd venture to guess they sell more Cayennes than Bosters in the Winter months, and we'll see that reverse in Spring and Summer? Could be wrong, but I'd guess full year figures are different, at least for the US.
