Anyone know where I could find an indoor car cover that fits over the wing of the GT3RS?

Porsche sells one for the 997 GT3 Cup car that fits the RS. I got it for my RS and it fits well.

 

I was able to order one through performance products. It fits perfectly.

 

I checked Performance Products' web site and they list a cover for the GT3 (non-RS) only. Is this the one you ordered ? (Part Number: 997.044.000.05). I had heard that some guys were ordering the OEM GT3 Cup Car cover due to the larger spoiler/wing size on the RS?

 

Sorry, I just checked with my wife and she looked at the cover and it's from california car cover. When I checked their website it does list the option for a 911 GT3RS, if you select that the only year options are 2007/08.....so it's the right one. I got the stormweave fabric so when at the track I use it overnight as well. I love it!

 

Get the Porsche cover for the cup car. I got one and it's a perfect fit. The regular aero kit is too small. Around $400.

 

Anyone have a part #....I check with the dealer and they are trying to sell me the GT2 cover...

If you're unable to find the part number, check the California Car cover web site. They make a cover with a variety of fabric options for the GT3RS. I have one for each of my RSs and they are a perfect fit.

 

Do you by chance have a picture of the GT3RS cover that you got from the California Car Cover site?

 

I don't but I will try to take one this weekend.

yes....on the california car cover web site, the drop down for model selection lists "911GT3RS" and when this is selected only the 2007/8 years come up. Check it out, and I'll get the photo done.

 

Here's a photo of the cover on one of my GT3RS's. I think it fits perfectly! On the web site you can select different colors and fabrics as well. Good luck
