MSRP + $50K...the MSRP on this car would be mid $140's so they are looking for $190K+. There are several '07s and '08s with delivery miles languishing on the market at MRSP +$40K. They are going to need a lot of patience if they are hoping for anything near MSRP +$50K in this market.

Here's an eBay auction (# 320234457679) a 2008 Black/Orange RS nicely optioned including PCCB's, 380 miles, relisted several times at MSRP + $33K - no sale. Another 2008 Black/Orange RS, (eBay # 250221298047) also nicely optioned, delivery miles, listed on eBay 3 times, last time asking MSRP +$30K - no sale...$50K over, I don't think so.

Last October Stevens Creek sold their last RS, (white 08) to Niello Porsche for $30K over MRSP, Niello still has the car.

I bought a RS at 30,000 over brand new 20miles on the odo nicely optioned! I think it was an O.K. purchase I really wanted a new car with no previous owners! Remember they only made 60 cars for 2008 that is what my research told me! I could have battled down further but I was in a hurry to be somewhere else.

really?
I am not aware of this car being offered at $200k by them at all and I think I was the first one to know about the car. I may be wrong.

Folks-
As I had mentioned before in another thread, I had the luck of buying a new GT3RS at MSRP at my local Porsche dealer when the orginal buyer backed out on the deal. I just happened to be there that day when it came in. It's not the color I would have chosen (orange with black), but it is a great car. So, somehow it is still possible to get these cars at MSRP. I have bought about 12 911s from this dealer, so maybe that is why they only charged me list.

Is it parked right in front? If so, it's the same one that was there when they had their customer appreciation day lunch. They wanted 210K from my buddy.

We didn't get it either. We just heard about it at the last minute so we stopped by to get free lunch.
