I also have Dymags in my RS and first I used Hoosier 325 30 19 and my car was slower than OEM RS,s then I used the new Hoosier 315 30 19 and then my car was the same as OEM RS,s
Like some said in terms of acceleration they are the same but the braking point can be latter and that is an advantage.
I have a friend with Dymags in hiss 997 TT EVOMS 700 and in the last track day one of his wheels broke in 3 spokes he felt a vibration and stopped the other 3 had the same lines in the spokes but like a start hmmm scary...

We did find a advantage under racing conditions using the dymag wheel over a conventional aluminum wheel.
1. Tire pressures were much more consitent overall.
2. We could run a higher pressure starting out.
3. Braking could be done with less force and at a later time.
4. Tire temperatures were much more consistent under yellow flag conditions.
The tires did not fall of in terms of temperature during this period and required less work to get them back up to temperature.
This is due to the nature of the barrel which transfers heat much better than Aluminum.

I know Oakley Design run their 997 GT3 Cup car on these wheels as well.

The wheels look really cool. However, I have a pet peeve. Oakley quotes the weight of the carbon-fiber/magnesium 19 x 8.5 wheel at 7kg. Dymag says the weight is 7.75 Kg. I weighed one of these wheels myself and it weighs exactly
7.73 kg.
I know it sounds like I am a nit-picker, but .75 kg is 1.65 lbs.
I suggest everyone be more accurate in their claims.

These wheels make the most sense on track and shows. On track, I'd be concerned about stress cracks. CF is great if it's a 1 pc. When bolted with magnesium spokes, I'd be concerned about cracks.
