yup.. thats where i went. the guys at Fletcher Jones now believes that the PCM is not programable. if the PCM came from a Bose system, then its configured as a digital audio output. unfortunately, my GT3 came with the ASK system (analog) and now my PCM is not compatiable nor progamable.

well there are 2 kinds of PCM's, one for the BOSE amp and one for the ASK (extended package plus).

the one that works for the BOSE amp is part# 997.642.143.xx. this one has no internal amp/drivers, so it has to hooked up with the external BOSE amp.

the one which you need is the same one i need, which has the internal amp/drivers which is part # 997.642.141.xx. i believe thats what porsche uses for GT3's with or without sound package plus.

the other option is to get the BOSE amp installed and the harness. i've heard mix information regarding the price of the oem BOSE harness. the other alternative is to just find the 997.642.141.xx pcm so you can use the internal amp.

hope that helps
