Hey Edgemont Village

I'm a neighbour, also in Edgemont Village and have been considering buying an '07 GT3. Came oh-so-close on a recent trip to CA but am still undecided. You appear to have done your homework and I'd like to get some tips/advice from you if possible. I'm at 1019 Ridgewood Drive with a silver '07 Z06 and a black '02 Z06 in the driveway. The black Z06 is often on jackstands in preparation for the next track day at Pacific Raceways or PIR. Drop in some time. I'd like to meet you.

Thanks for the link, this RS was listed and sold by Paul Miller Porsche (twice) within the past couple of weeks on eBay (listing# 380038738135). The price shown in the ad is the MSRP.

White RS is rare especially in Canada. I've took this pic from Downtown Porsche at Toronto last year. I believe thats the only Canadian white RS. Hope you can find the right car and have another local white RS!

 

dont want to turn your RS search into a debate,.. but i agree with Oldman. for $13k, id buy the RS is a great deal. but, with all the dealer mark ups $50k.. id buy the GT3 all day. for example, i had a choice to buy a 08 GT3 at MSRP or a dealer markup RS for $185. guess which one i took

 

There was a brand new white one on eBay all of last week. I think bidding ended on that item. I think it was priced around $170k.

 

Hiper, thanks for the info, the white RS I believe you are referring to was sold by Paul Miller Porsche, first for $200K on eBay (listing # 380032770558) which seemed high based on recent sales and as it turned out the deal didn't close...who knows why. It was relisted on eBay and sold before the end of the auction - price unknown.

Not so but definately rare. There is one Canadian car inCalgary and 1 US version.

 

There's a white GT2 at Pioneer Porsche in San Diego.

 

rennlist.com classified has a white RS listed. not sure if it is still available.

Saw your Cab listed in the Sun Classifieds, did you do OK on the sale of your car? Quite a shift from a Cab to GT3RS, enjoy it! Will you be tracking it? I am sure I will see your car in the Village.
