WTB: 997 GT3 Brake kit for sale anyone?

Have any of you guys upgraded your brakes and want to get rid of the stockers lying around?

I am looking for front and rear calipers mainly but will consider buying pads and rear rotors as well. Unfortunately the front GT3 Rotors won't bolt onto my 996TT...

I just missed a complete set with 900 miles on it for a very fair price so now the search continues...

Let me know if anybody has any that they want to get rid of, thanks!!!

I'll call you this afternoon, Simon. I'm doing some research to confirm that these will fit. I know the front will bolt right up but the rears have a different part number than the turbos... I don't know if there is a difference in the mounting/offset, etc... I don't want to waste your time if these won't work! I'll get back to you, man, thanks!

997GT3NM is infamous around these parts
Edit: Just noticed you have a 996 turbo. Not sure if I have what you are looking for.

You are in luck. I just upgraded my 997 GT3 to the PCCB's, and have all of the parts. In order to do this, I had to swap out the front uprights for this to work. The beauty of this is that you may be able to do the same with your turbo, and then the entire set of GT3 brakes will fit on your car and make for a balanced system. Also, the GT3 uprights are out of aluminum; I'm not sure if they are on the turbo??? If not, then you get that added benefit of reducing some weight and maybe going with the rest of the GT3 suspension components on your car. Based on these prices, it does not look like it would be that expensive either:

Camber Kits

Shims

GT3 Front Sway Bar

Drop Link Set

Anyway, PM me your number and I will contact you if you are still interested.

Thanks, don't think I can use all of your parts but I appreciate your response. If you have just the 997GT3 brake kit available (calipers, pads, rear rotors), please let me know. Also, the 997GT3 and TT have the same brake setup (so I'm told) unless one has PCCB's... Anyone with a 997TT would not be upgrading if they installed your setup but possibly a regular 997 might take them and be worthwhile! Good luck moving your setup!

Thanks, everybody. I found a set of 997TT brakes and they are installed and on my car...bolted right up. Great upgrade!

Thanks to Eli and Fast Forward Performance in Monterey Park for the parts and the excellent install and parts!
