Ultima GTR
or
Superperformance Ford GT

Light, street legal, powerful (with the proper engine choices), brutally unrefined, race car oriented, a great test of driver skill, economical to buy (or build) and run.

I have my heart set on an Ultima CanAm build, but that's me...

have u actually driven/own the ultima?
it doesn't last on track.
something is broken or overheated ALL the time.
my bud has never finished a track day without it breaking down.

Yeah it does.

Oh and I saw Matt's CM car on track last weekend - it's a screamer!

Personally, if I were in your shoes I would either build a Porsche track car from ground up/turn your existing GT3 into a trackstar, or get a 2008~ Viper ACR and call it a day

It makes sense to me after reading his original tread. Sounds to me like he does not want to abuse his $100,000 GT3...(I agree it is meant for the track, but some people may be reluctant to take such risks with such an expensive car). In this case, why not sell the GT3, buy a ZO6 for $40k - $50k, and pocket $30,000.
