that's very odd. with bmw, a demo car actually gets an extended warranty. i.e. +3 months on top of your 4yr warranty. clock starts from date of sale.

The value of a car is what a qualified AND willing buyer is willing to pay. =)

Not the demo BMW I bought. I lost 6 months on my M5 when I bought it.

really. my e39 was a showroom demo with 19mi on the clock. ended up with 4yrs +3months on warranty. my SA said that's what they do with new car demos. this was 5yrs back though so things might have changed. sorry for misinfo. you bought an e60 i pressume? hope you didn't get the ones they use at the performance schools.

that sucks. but even with the full 4yr warranty it's tough to make it to inspection II.

I was told that my car was Tom Purves' (BMWNA Pres) personal car for 6 months. I got it when he was done with it. And I lost those 6 months. I was the first to title it.

Maybe that is different than demo car.
