Rental companies usually have spotters out on most weekends too, so be careful if you take ur rental out, you might come back with an 500 euro fine...

I picked up a new M3 4 door two weeks ago and have been doing the alps and other thing since. the car is now broken in(1200 miles) and ready for fun.

Stay anywhere in Adenau. It is a nice area and is very inexpensive (<$100). I stayed at the Hotel Zum Wilden Schwein (the wild boar). The owner was very nice, and there are a couple great restaurants on that street.

http://www.hotel-an-der-nordschleife.de/hotel/ is good, over by the Adenau entrance. Of course you will have to eat at the PK in Nurburg though
