My '08 GT3 has a similar noise but sounds like squeeking springs at low speed(10-15 mph). I've also heard on occasion a sound similar to thin wire scrapping the ground or my inner wheel. It happens infrequently but it's there. Any ideas?, I hate to bring it in, otherwise the car runs great no problems.

 

I've got an 08 Cayman and it has exactly the same problem as you described. The problem has been getting more frequent lately, almost every time I drive it. It has been hard to explain to the dealer, and they were unable to reproduce the problem last time I brought it in. It almost gives them an excuse to drive the car around. Any help with this problem guys?

 

i've got noises coming from mine too. had it in at 2 dealers but no luck. it sounds like is coming from the dash but cannot find anything loose! i've tried driving without the glove box, radio, a/c control and vents, and chrono clock but the the sound is still there! can't figure out if it is from the interior dash or from outside, suspensions!
