Nice car Garrett. Congratulations!

I saw your Turbo yesterday... it was parked next to my GT2.

By the way, have you driven the new 2?

Congratulations !

I hope you don't expect to use these PCCB rotors on the track however... mine are cooked after only 2,000 miles of track time !

(See the treads under PCCB durability)

he doesn't need this car for the track....you should research the brake problems that TCM on track seems to cause...

I was told recently not to use the Traction Control system on the track because it is too sensitive and invasive. This is what I do now, but it was too late for the PCCB rear rotors, but I don't know if it would have really made any difference... anyway, such an expensive car should not have that kind of defect and at least they should warn owners not to use TC on tracks in the owners manual if it's really the case.

actually the TC is not intrusive. if you trigger it on dry pavement, you need to be a lot smoother. you can slide the rear around smoothly without ever triggering the TC

I tracked the car without the TC for the last 3 DE events I did and didn't notice any difference in the car handling ! The rear pads are wearing much more like the front pads now. So my guess is that the TC system is intrusive in the sense that it works even if it's not necessary since I don't even feel it while it eats the pads ???
