And for your info, i actually own mobil stations and also operate an exxon-mobil oil distribution co. I have never heard or seen anyone using this oil in gasoline engines, but you do you

 

"TOTAL" brand oil 0-40w. It claims to be better than Mobil 1. Many porsche mechanics here in LA area have switched to TOTAL.

 

i only use mfrs recommendation for fear of warranty issues in case something goes wrong with the engine. mobil1 0/40.

You own gas stations and you have no clue... please go educate yourself.

 

Go look at Porsche's recommended oils... the list is a LOT longer than just 0w40.

I'm not saying M1 0W40 is bad. I think it's a great oil but there are Other options that are approved from Porsche

 

Mobil 1 0-40 for the street. Castrol 5-50 for the track.

 

Its OK joyride , You keep putting that delvac in your car and ill stay with mobil 1, thats all good with me

you're probably right. i barely rtfm but i'll stick to mobil1 0/40. there's a mobil1 sticker on the decklid.

 

Delvac is used as tranny/diff fluid as it's thicker then mobile1 0W40. This is straight from Guard transmission.
