what do u think of this RS poser?

Well just by quickly looking at it, they didn't use the RS quarters, 997 metal rockers, or the 997 RS lower rocker moldings. It definately looks funny and salvaged/repaired in this area. Oh and I am sure many people here feel the same about my car. No big deal, I feel it is one thing to tell someone the car is actually a 997 GT3 RS, poserish, but I am always upfront and explain what we did. Its not as if its not a nice car, mine gets more attention than I ever had in any other car. But not all of us could afford 175-200k dollar car when I built mine. I agree if anyone were looking to buy this, they would be stupid not to get the real thing.

no disrespect to you joeacc. you car is awesome if i had access to a 996gt3 which was already totaled, i would of done the same thing as you. also yours was built for your own pleasure not to be built and then sold to fool others as being a 7rs.
my point about the 996gt3 turn 997gt3 is mainly about the RS badging. if wicked motors were to sell this as a 997 gt3 look a like thats fine. adding the RS fenders, rockers, rear bumpers would also be a plus. but badging it as a RS when its not.. thats where i draw the poser line.
i know this first hand as i converted my us spec m3 to look like a CSL. but i NEVER put the CSL badge on the back of the car.

hope you didnt take my comment the wrong way, joe!! i know that your car was never advertised as an RS, you arent afraid to show/tell what you've done to it, and that yours was redone without cutting any costs...!!! i still need to see yours soon, before you repaint this summer.
i didn't even click the original link to see the quality. i hate wicked too much to click their auctions!!

No I didn't take your comment in a bad way, just thought I would post my opinion. I also think it makes a difference if you are just building the car to sell it for a profit, instead of for the enjoyment of the process and to keep the car for a very long time. I even had several pm's on here asking if I were interested in selling my car, all of which I obviously declined. As far as the decals, I am indecisive on it. I went ahead and put the GT3RS decals on my car, only because after I had it all done it looked so dark and I wanted just a little more something there. If the stickers had stood out more I wouldn't have put them on, like if I had painted the car silver and then put on the black stickers; or just put on the orange ones on my car now. But even after I put on the shiny black decals on the matte black paint, they are barely visible, just added a little more to my car.

Joe - who cares, your car looks amazing and has the quality to boot
I've seen pictures of that one in HK. Where it was posted, it fooled the members.. Ha ha, sad... not even a gt3...
