I also think that Excellence is a very well written magazine.
The whole article was there for me, unless you're including the reference to the GT3 comparison at the end, which I took for being a different article. It was a well written article.

Jared, I could not be happier for you to see the fruits of your hard work displayed in full color. I know Synergy was mentioned in there but you were the drive and vision behind it all. I look forward to reading the whole thing page by page.

Dan, I was also impressed to read about your entry as well. Thanks so much for taking the time to do such a nice presentation for all of us to see in the early stages. I have always heard great things about Shark Werks and admired your products. Hope to come see your operation next time I am out on the West coast.

Jared, again thank you for giving us the honor of working on something you hold so dear to your heart.

The GT3 article is kind of a different article, but it's not too. Since my car won, they put it up against the GT3. That actually is the comparison that I was most interested in even before flying out to Cali.

Also, the online article doesn't have neat little snippets, like a bit that I got to wrote (a full page) about my experience and thoughts about about the test. I got to be one of the drivers, rotating through each of the four cars along with the other three test drivers for Excellence.

And yes, it is a really well written article. Pete Stout, in my opinion, is the best, most honest and critical auto journalist... and I subscribe to 9 car mags. To have him write up MY car, and well, it is such an honor. There are many articles you can read of his where he plain hates the car. Nobody else really does that. Also, those guys REALLY test out the limits of these cars. It's VERY hard core. I love it. I would love to trade jobs with him!

Kerrigan! You posted!

You guys should be more than just mentioned. The car handles like it does because of your "special sauce". Bob Chapman, one of the article's test drivers AND the photog said "Jared's car handles very much like your Competition Race Cars, and that's A HUGE compliment." But you also made it handle and ride well, which is some of what Pete said. I have to agree. It's an amazing mix. Thank you!

So, any plans for a Cayman S in your future? If you gave one of those the same attention you gave your C2S, you'd have a quite a performer. And if you could add a SC to it, WOW.

Yeah. I've really thought about having my car as a street bruiser and building a Cayman S for racing. But I wouldn't do an SC in it, since it WOULD be a race car.

It'd be a wonderful car. I love 'em now.

Thanks and it's a really different style article. It should be on shelves any day now. So much time, effort and work went into it. I wish people knew how many miles these folks actually did and all the different kinds of driving This was NO photo-style-shoot if you know what I mean... Although the photos turned out amazing too.

Hey blakt out, so glad for you because the car was so well thought out from top to bottom (I love the story behind it to) and just a monster. The fact that it was such an amazing street car (let alone on the track) still boggles the mind! Pete is hard to impress (and a good thing too) and you impressed the pants off of him- I remember what he said about my JRZ's on the old turbo lol!

When I came to pick up the Cayman and was at the gas station as you whizzed by in your car... I just knew:P Two 6speeder's done good!

Hey Greg, seriously a big thanks to you guys (and TurboMike) for developing and helping so much throughout the process. The IPD plenum, larger throttle body combination and EVOMSit tuning is such a nice addition to any 3.4L 987 now... Everyone so far up here that we've done is loving it!

Kudos to Jarod, Pete and his crew for taking the time/effort to do it. Excellence is one of the few magazines left out there and especially for us Porschephiles. Very few people print how the see it (popular opinion or not) and as Jarod says Pete does just that.

Thank you ever so much and coming from you whom we really respect that means a lot. We're a small op. by comparison (no race team here!) but Jared had so many cool things to say about you folks and the fine tuning you did to get such an amazing track car be so spot-on these roads (the street) is something so special. Anytime you're here let us know it'd be great to meet and pick your brains on suspension!
