Looks like a bad wreck, that is too bad.
Ar you sure it's new? If that color is LIGHT blue, I think it's old... ?
Q (hard to answer, I bet) - Is the CGT hard to drive, or do people wreck them because they try to push the limits of a supercar and they in fact are just bad drivers?

It means that it is going to be a BIG accident when it does go wrong.
Because of the "image" of the car and the driver's "self image" they put the car and themselves in a position beyond their ability. To handle a car with this sort of capability requires an understanding of what will happen next--not get there and then start thinking about it when it is already to late.
To own and drive a car like the CGT effectively needs some understanding and respect for it's capabilities and the discipline to manage it properly.

I like the fact that there is such a thing as a CGT registry. There should be one for the 996 GT2, or we should start one?

thanks for the replies regarding skill required.
take a gallardo as a comparison - very fast as well, but awd, and often said that they are "very easy" to drive (assuming at limits, not just around town). is the cgt easy to drive normally, but a ***** to find the limits, and to correct once overshot?

Since we're on the topic, I assume some of you guys have heard of the site www.wreckedexotics.com. There you can view all of your favorite cars partially or completely destroyed.
