Hmmm??!? Very nice indeed. I think you have a lot of us thinking now! Me for sure. Let's see: Sharkwerks 3.8 conversion, some new suspension parts, Gt2 seats and a nice roll bar!! Sounds like a great Valentine's gift to myself. Thanks for the post.....I think!!

Looks great! Very helpfull writeup for others to follow, this is why I like this community so much.

Question: Do you have to disconect the battery if all you are doing is running the seat belts through the seat openings, the shop that installed my GT3 race seats omited to do so.

Thanks guys and glad you like the modification. docdan and snowborder54, you guys will love the GT2 seats if you decide to get them - they are very comfortable even for long trips and most importantly great for track!

Fern, I thought about yellow harness but went for OEM red which turns out well. Looks even better in person

Very nice project and looks great.
Those GT2 seats are fantastic and beautiful. In my opinion they are a much better choice especially compared to the Sparco DTM seats.
I went through hell with those seats and finally lost a lot of money dealing with them. The fit, the height, the belts and on and on.

Enjoy and good luck.

Thanks Ranger. Agree that OEM rout is so much better for both fit and finish. These GT2 seats will be well used

You got it Fabryce. Not many vendor will make a DIY video on request. You should have seen my face when I saw how easy it is for your guys to install the roll bar lol

Many thanks again and I may make it down to Willow one of these days

Looks brilliant Mike! I'm (still) in the middle of a clubsport v GT2 seat decision for my RS, but have to admit leaning toward the GT2 option. You're excellent coverage is helping tip the scales further, and thanks for that!

You are welcome. At less than 1/2 the cost of club sports seats, 37 lbs of total weight loss, retaining side impact airbags and user friendly with tilt function plus it looks great too .... it's a hard to beat package

Another great project and write-up. Thank you!

You stated the GT-2 seats are very comfortable, but do you miss the adjustable recline? How much time have you had in them now? Definitely moving toward purchasing these myself.

Also, what camera/lens? Nice close up shots with flash....

I had the GT2 seats for more than a month now. Done couple > 200 miles trips in them and twice on the track. Yes, they are very comfortable. If OEM seat is a 10 then GT2 seat is a 9.5 comfort wise. I don't miss the recline OEM seat at all since I don't adjust the back once it's set

Oh, my digital camera is super cheap .... it's more than 4 years old. It's a Minolta Dimage G 500 5.0 mega pixels. I have to be very patient when I take a picture. It takes a while to focus etc. My wife been bugging me to get a new one .... and a new laptop top lol
