Why not just put it on a lift and turn the wheel and see/hear where the boing comes from. Even if it's "normal", it'd still be educational to know what's causing it.

I've got the LSD and cold start up noises. Those didn't surprise me really.
I actually was only a little surprised about the boing and clank. All my racecars have made those noises since insulation and rubber mounting points are eliminated. I just thought it might be indicative of something wrong in a street car. I'll take it by the dealer and let them check it out. There's a damaged door sill that they have to replace any way. So, no biggie....
That is, if I can get my freaking Cayenne Turbo back from them. Long and irritating story...
