GT3 RS or 997.2 GT3?

Looks clean and only 5K miles.
I too would get that for $105K over a loaded 997.2 for around $135K.

I thought they kept the same engine with the 997.2?

Yes, but it is still exactly the same engine, just larger bore... Just like the current RSR is a 3.8Lt dispite the RS that it is homologated from being a 3.6lt... They are all based on the Metzger gt1 engine block... thus same...

From my understanding, it's simply a higher revving version of the 3.8L DFI (direct fuel injection) w/variocam from the S and 4S (vs. GT1 in 997.1). But I could be wrong.

997.2 gt3 will have a gt1 based motor with true dry sump and without DFI, thus the lack of improvement in fuel consumption unlike the rest of the 997.2 range...

Not that it matters on the street but doesn't the .2 have twice as much downforce? I mean a green RS is my dream car but the more I read on the .2 the more I am coming to realize that it is a better car. Plus you get center locking lugs
